Dean of Christ Church Oxford reinstated

We are delighted that Martyn Percy, Dean of Christ Church, Oxford, has returned to work after successfully defending himself against a complaint brought against him by a small group of Christ Church’s academics. The Dean was suspended pending determination of the complaint, but has now been reinstated after an internal tribunal chaired by High Court Judge Sir Andrew Smith rejected all the charges. Catherine Richmond has acted for the Dean since September 2018 and Sean Jones QC represented him before the internal tribunal.
