Worden Richmond is led by Alexandra Worden, a solicitor, and Catherine Richmond, a barrister. Alexandra and Catherine met when they joined Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as trainee solicitors. They both qualified into Freshfields’ Employment, Pensions and Benefits department where they came to know each other well through sharing an office for a while. Their paths later diverged, Alexandra becoming a partner at Eversheds and then running her own firm Worden Employment Law, and Catherine becoming a partner at Nabarro (now part of CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang) and then a barrister at Cloisters. They then joined forces once more to establish Worden Richmond. They have since welcomed employment law specialist Paula New to the firm.
